PLANARITY AND PARALLELISM
In order to satisfy our microelectronics costumers, MEDI succeded in manufaturing aluminium parts (Ergal) 550x350x40mm with planarity within 0,03mm (0,0196 and 0,0227), and parallelsim of top and bottom planes less than 0,03mm.
Similar results for an aluminium square (5083) with huge material removal and high deformation: the four edges have planarity within 0,04mm.
In the end, AISI630 circle (D.350mmx10mm), waterjet cutted (cold cut) and finished by mill (before horizontal grinding) reached the planarity within 0,03mm
